“I come from a family of cosmetologists and I like to travel and sample different barbershops around the world. I looked up Blind Tiger and saw they have great reviews. Of course I wanted to see what the negative reviews had to say. One stood out to me talking about how unreasonably expensive this place is and that it’s no different than a quick clips salon. That made me want to try it even more just to see for myself. They are not wrong that it’s expensive. $50 for a men’s cut is definitely not cheap. But it is not unreasonable. As a barbershop connoisseur, it is on a whole other level than compared to a quick clips type salon. I was provided a very high quality cut and experience. The attention to detail was unprecedented. The environment and hand selected vintage barber chairs add to the vibe. I appreciate that not everyone is an audiophile when it comes to the barbershop experience, but if you are, then this place is for you. Thanks for perfecting your talent and sharing it Uli!“

“Ms Fong is cheerful and welcoming. She does an excellent haircut and beard trim. I have now been to her several times and I'm very happy with the results. She does an old fashioned straight edge razor shave preceded by a hot towel face wrap and followed by a cold towel. And she follows the haircut with a head and shoulder massage that are very relaxing. I recommend her highly.“

“I was visiting from Alaska and showed up with a bushy Alaskan beard. I was at the gym and saw myself and was like “bruh, no”. I googled shops close to me and found this one! I liked the vibe I found in the search, it was close to where I was at (the gym parking lot) and so I jammed over. I liked the vibe when I walked in - very…. Gentleman? Woodsy? Masculine. I liked it.

The owner said they were short staffed but checked his schedule and said he could make room for me in an hour.

It was my first beard trim. I liked it! I didn’t know what shape or style I wanted and told him just to go with what he thought would look good. The warm shaving cream and hot towel wrap followed by a straight razor shave for the edges was something else, let me tell you. So much bougier than anything I’ve experienced regarding my facial hair. Phenomenal.

JB, the owner, was personable and easy to talk to. If I lived here, I could for sure see myself making his shop my go to spot to keep me looking sharp.

I was received just in time for my appointment, my wait time was like 2 minutes. I thought this is great usually I sit around like 20 minutes at other hair cut places. Angela was amazing, even when I could feel she was a little nervous since she only started working 3 days earlier.
