I absolutely love this vet clinic. I've been taking my cat here for almost 10 years and they always give the best care without being outrageously pricey. I get all my cats check ups, shots or any other issues (like dental or illnesses) done here and I have never had any problems or complications. I fully trust the dr and her team here at this clinic.

I woke up this morning to find that my dog had a bump on the side of his belly and it was the size of a baseball. The sweeping was so big that I knew I had to take him in. Luckily, this office was available for a same day appt so I took him in. The staff were so friendly and kind. You can tell everyone here absolutely love taking care of dogs. I've only seen dogs come through, but I'm sure they help other pets too! Affordable and thankful they had a last minute appt and able to see us. We ended up walking away with pain meds and antibiotics. Follow up is next week and hopefully he'll be back to his normal silly self!

I have to drop another review for Sugarhouse Veterinary Hospital and of course it's another 5 stars! Shout out to Dr. Amanda Perez! She is SO sweet. I've been taking my cats here for 23 years and we have loved all of our vets there. The past few years, Dr. Perez has been taking excellent care of my boy- Oji. She is so gentle and good with him. In her presence, he is so calm during his exams because her bedside manner is amazing! I also must add that last year, she did dental extractions for him and she was so caring, efficient and thorough before, during and after his surgery. He made it out great and healed up perfectly with Dr. Perez helping him! This year, his teeth are looking "beautiful" because she took excellent care of him when he needed it and before his teeth got worse. I was reminded today why I'm very happy to take my cats to this clinic for over two decades. They have helped me through some difficult times - urinary blockage for one of my cats (twice), simple bite wounds, to mega colon surgery (thanks for extending my cat Msabau's life, Dr. Belnap!) and also two euthanasias and now Dr. Perez and her team are giving the best care and attention to my only child. SHVH only has the best vets on their team and their support staff (techs and front desk staff) have always been wonderful, too! Big thank you! Angela Palmer and Oji
