I have several small businesses and have used Platform, (Florez Tax) for over 24 years. Rick & Natalee are both knowledgeable tax consultants. They are not merely pencil pushers. The give me suggestions on ways I could save. One year their year end review of my income (November) and the recommendations made saved me over $5,9m000. Yes, I highly recommend their prompt knowledgeable service and will use them into retirement . Which they (Rick) helped set up plan).

I have been using the same tax professional for the last 22 years and decided that he was not doing what was in my best interest, I was refereed to Natalie of Platform Tax & Consulting by a friend and I am EXTREMELY PLEASED and GRATEFUL to her and her staff. From day one Natalie was prompt in returning my phone calls, emails and her staff continued with that policy. As a client that would be needing seven (7) tax returns completed I asked her for a price up front and it was the same amount when the bill came due, no surprises or add in charges. I am probably one of the few people in the US that actually reviews their tax returns every year and they were spot on. Not only were they correct but Natalie even told us that if we made a payment to our IRA how much it would lower our tax bill. I am very happy and satisfied that I was refereed to Platform Tax & Consulting and will continue to do business with them hopefully for the next 22 plus years.

Extremely disappointed with their service. At first, Natalee Harris was swift to extend a hand in filing my taxes and we discussed a fair rate. The next year, she upped the price on me although NOTHING about my situation had changed. I asked her if that would be the policy every year. She said, "Pretty much." Not cool. We went back and forth and I was able to get her to lower the rate...for that year. She said it would be more the next year. Why? Just because. But then I noticed something was missing on that tax return after they had claimed my taxes had been filed. They said they would need to charge me AGAIN to add an amendment. Turns out they never filed my taxes in the first place! The office girl was slacking. Therefore, there was no need for an amendment; just a new data entry on the digital doc. Do they reverse the charge? NOPE. I PAID DOUBLE for my taxes that year. She had found a way to get her $$$ after all. Highly unethical. Had I not contacted them about the missing w2, my taxes would not have been filed at all and I would have been fined by the IRS thanks to their oversight. And yet no apology; only additional charges. I decided to find someone else. Surprise! If I didn't get a solicitation email the following year requesting my business...and the rate had gone up again. Good thing I have a new guy who doesn't jack rates just because he can.
