The company's prices are reasonable, and their staff, including Juan and the owner Jacob, are knowledgeable, professional, and polite. They were able to successfully sand and refinish 33-year-old oak hardwood floors, as well as install new hardwood to match in the living room, covering a total area of approximately 1,650 square feet. The customer was unsure about the finish, but Juan helped them decide on a water-based finish, and the final result was a beautiful and well-executed project that the customer is thrilled with. Additionally, the company has also demonstrated their expertise in installing over 2,500 square feet of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring within a tight timeline, while maintaining a high standard of care and communication.
I had moose flooring come out for a quote about 2 months ago. I had a big remodel in Park City that needed a lot of different crews on site to finish the project. Jakob, Chris and the crew were super flexible and worked around our other installers. We did a 13 inch wide plank engineered hardwood and I think it turned out really special. Moose did full glue down and nail down for the floor just like we asked. They also fabricated some custom stair nose and baseboard for us that matches the new floors.
I had 33 year old oak hardwood that needed sanding and refinishing, plus add new hardwood to match in our living room. Their prices are reasonable, the quality was excellent and Juan was knowledgeable and professional. Jacob the owner was very polite and he did the bid. I wasn't sure what finish to have on my floors, so I did research and decided on water based finish. Juan helped me decide what sealer/stain to put on my floors. It took them 5 days to install the new wood on about 250 sq ft, then sanding it all down with my existing floors, approximatly 1400 sq ft., and sealing and putting on 2 coates of finish. I love my floors! I highly recommend them.
Very professional. They were very communicative and set a high standard of care to ensure full coverage and no issues with baseboard insulation. Did over 2500 SF of LVP for me in a tight timeline and I would recommend them to anyone.
