    I was recommended this spot and specifically Brooklyn because she does curly hair. It was wonderful, she clearly knows what she was doing, which is not the case for curly hair, people will say they do but don’t actually know . Anyways, terrific pricing and they don’t accept tips which you think would be a bad thing but is actually not. This is gonna be my new go to when I need a cut

    This was the best haircut experience I have ever had. Alan not only executed what I wanted perfectly but adjusted as he went checking in with me every step of the way. My haircut was done with a level of care and caution I literally dreamed of. He was clearly knowledgeable about hair textures and technique and his work showed that. As someone who is Butch I’ve always struggled to feel good about pampering myself or being in beauty centered spaces. The environment here was so inviting and Boujee made something that felt so daunting to me before seem effortless.     I really love getting my hair cut here. Joshua Lucero has put so much labor and love into creating a space that 1. Is aesthetically pleasing 2. That is highly diverse (both in staff/stylists as well as clientele) 3. That feels highly inclusive and incredibly safe in a city that often times unwelcoming to specific demographics. Lucero also a haircutting event for pride week at the University of Utah where I work.
