As a physician, I am keenly aware of the benefit of exercise. Starting martial arts at the age of 75 has been a real awakening. I watch the children being taught respect, following directions and amazing physical skills. As an oldster I have enjoyed a major increase in balance and coordination. It is also a memory exercise, remembering movement patterns. And I play tennis--my ability to anticipate the trajectory of the ball and to use my entire body to produce power is now better than it was on the tennis court 20 years ago!! Thank you Marshall Parnell. Highly recommended for all ages.
Amazing!! It has improved my balance, coordination, reaction time, fitness and is fun--started at 75. As a physician I suggest this activity for all ages, teaches respect, mind body connection and is an excellent social connection. Master Parnell, Master Pati, and Master Carson are superb instructors. Please join me in class!!!

It teaches mindfulness, respect and sense of community. I wish this could be a standard part of public education. I enjoy classes alongside the children of all ages,... read full review
