Brian is different than most accountants. Instead of just filing my taxes, he helped me come up with strategies that will save me thousands of dollars in taxes. I highly recommend you speak with him. It is well worth your time.

I retained Brian and his firm, and agreed to a sizable retainer payment plan over the coming many months for specific work. Brian then merged (or sold, or left?) his firm with one called CPA Solutions and left me in a very weird spot -- again, after having paid him for specific work on a specific time table. Given how quickly / immediately subsequently his firm's clients were absorbed by this completely other, new company CPA Solutions, I can't imagine it wasn't previously known that this was happening, and I am under the belief that my retainer payment plan was taken while knowing he would not be fulfilling it but that it would bolster the "value" of his portfolio he was handing off to CPA Solutions. I cannot say this for certain, and so I do not express this as a cold, hard fact, but I cannot imagine that things could have been different given the timing. I was left in the lurch, and the ramifications reverberated for 1.5 years and still carry over today.

I have searched for a forward thinking CPA that is responsive for the last 9 years and I think I've found him. I hate waiting until the year is over then counting my dead. I'd rather plan a head with someone that is creative and will help me limit my tax liability and help me attain my financial goals and not just bend over and quote the tax rules. Their is a difference between a pro coach and a high school coach and that goes for other professionals like accountants as well.
