This is my father's adopted dad I won't even claim him as my grandpa he is so dishonest it's sick.Treats his family like a business,stood by while children were sexual abused in his home and he did NOTHING,he beat his own adoptive kids physically and he said he only adopted his 9 kids for the paycheck from the state.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!! John Max is the most deceptive and dishonest business owner I have ever met, and it's no wonder his business is failing. I rent a property from him, and I cannot believe this guy is even in business. Don't sign his contracts; they are very deceptive, and basically try to put all landlord responsibilities on the tenant. Example; your heater breaks, he'll stick you with the $5000 bill. Your sewer lines back up because of previous tenants, he'll say it's your fault and charge you the bill.
