Dr. Kate Hooley

I'm writing this almost two months after my visit, Dr. Hooley has seen my dog in person only once but after not being able to make it back in I asked her office to refill a prescription for my poodle, she did it without hesitation. My Freddie is feeling great and I will not hesitate to bring him back in even just to check in on the doc.

Dr Hooley was very caring about my 12 1/2 year old mini dachshund, she had started dragging her left front paw so I took her in. Dr Hooley checked her and said unfortunately I'm pretty sure she has a slipped disc or a herniated one in her neck, she gave her some medication and never was like let's do imaging and possibly look into surgery. I never felt at any point that she was just there for the money. Dr.Hooley cares about the animals and their people.

Dr Hooley is one of the best vets that has treated my pets! It’s hard to find a large animal vet that will treat your livestock like family members. Luckily in Dr Hooley I found a small animal vet that treats goats and loves them as much as I do. She has helped me with an orphaned lamb with a broken leg, a pig having trouble giving birth, and a dog with severe chest trauma just to name a few. She explains things very thoroughly and considers all the factors when coming up with a treatment plan. She’s even helped me come up with a preventative plan for my dairy goat herd. I’m so grateful to her for helping keep my animals healthy.
