David is simply the best barber/hairstylist in the state. I’ve tried other options, and I’ve never had a haircut live up to what I get at CO-LAB. My brother and I have a running joke that David can single handedly add 2 points to your attractiveness scale! Come in as an 8, leave as a 10! I currently drive 45 minutes from SLC just to see David, and he never disappoints. In fact, when I lived out of state, I used to grow out my hair longer until I was able to schedule an appointment with him! A hair savant, an 11/10 experience, and overall just a great dude. The one extension I've never tried until now has been tape! I recently switched to tape and I'm kicking myself for NOT doing it sooner! They have been so effortless and beautiful to wear! More natural looking than any other extensions I've had. Easy to wash, easy to style and much less pressure and pull on my scalp than other extension types I've had.
If I want to incorporate another color into my hair it's very easy to do with tape at anytime.

Salon 555 is THE BEST! I have been going here since they opened back in August 2023! All of their staff is super friendly and helpful! They greeted me as soon as I walked in and hooked me up with the best set of nails! They also offer piercings and permanent jewelry, which are addicting..... I have already gotten 2 new piercings and 4 bracelets! You really need to check them out! You will not regret it!

I’ve only started getting my nails done in the last year so I’m not familiar with many techniques or what to expect but I can tell you why I love Scarlet. She’s warm, friendly, and very helpful. She keeps working with me to try solutions to the problems I get with my nails. When she moved from the salon where I met her to start her own salon, I lost touch with her and tried a couple other places. There was one place where the nail technician did very precise and efficient work but I didn’t want to go back because she was abrupt with me—yelling at me to wash my hands first when I approached her—and she made no attempts at conversation. Scarlet is a nurturing person. I also tried the Skin Science Institute Groupon and found the students there sweet but not very experienced. They also didn’t have a drill for removing my old polish so it took them an extra 40 minutes just to soak it off. I was pleasantly surprised to find when I reconnected with Scarlet, that she doesn’t charge for the gel removal. She has very good baseline prices and when testing a new product on me to see if it’s better—she doesn’t charge any extra. I always feel pampered when I go there.
I learned so much from this class, she taught me in ways that I was really able to understand! I’m excited to implement the tools and techniques that I was taught!!
They were great! I did a gel removal and giving me acrylics. The lady who did my nails (I didn’t get her name) was great! Removing my gel, she rotated between soaking in acetone and slowly filing it off my nail. She didn’t get aggressive about picking or forcing it off and kept feeling with her fingers to see where some gel remained.
She also made sure I knew what I was asking for especially before she started cutting lengths and got into the process of acrylics and she REALLY knows how to prep a nail without causing heat or discomfort on your nails. Her control of the acrylic beads was also insane! She was great! My acrylics aren’t super thick and fake looking either!! Still a very natural nail thickness and I still have a natural looking nail curve. I asked for super short acrylics so that’s why they’re this short. I’m sure if you wanted longer ones, she’d do a great job with those too!
You do need an appointment to get in. I heard a few times while I was getting my nails done that people walked in and the shop was busy enough they didn’t have time to take them. Just call to make an appointment. It’s super fast and easy!

Cleanliness: It was a clean spa and she didn’t just re-use the bowl for acetone from a previous client. She got a new one out and when I was done, she moved it away from her station. She also kept vacuuming up the dust from my nails so they didn’t get stuck in the product and cause issues.

Lim Nails is the best nail salon I've been to so far since I moved to Utah in March! I made the mistake of going to a low rated nail salon one Friday afternoon for a pedicure and left in shock of how poorly the lady did my toe nails, and I paid $50 for it! I immediately looked up other salons around the neighborhood and saw Lim Nails with great reviews (I didn't have the guts to tell the lady who did them how bad they looked and I figured she didn't have the skills to fix them anyway). Lim Nails got me in right when I called and redid my toes quickly and with perfection! I also paid less than at the other salon! They looked 1000 times better once I left Lim Nails. I wont be going anywhere else from now on!

I called ahead to see if they were available. I came right when she said and didn’t wait at all. I got some acrylic overlay and a gel pedi! AMAZING.? She even worked with my big toes that have ingrown nails (one had surgery a few years back and always looks crooked and weird) but now both feet look spectacular! Definitely get a pedicure because the massage is also worth it. She is easy to talk to or you can just read a book. Thank you Moon!

Clint is so amazing! After getting a bad haircut someplace else, I came to The Metro to get it fixed. I got bangs and all of my hair thinned and layered. My hair feels so much lighter and I love my bangs so much. He pays so much attention to detail and actually spent time making sure the layers were even. He even told me I could come in another day and do some touch-ups if there was anything I didn’t like. It was only about $20 but we left a large tip because he is just so awesome. Clint is so kind and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I used to get them done at a professional spa in Utah County but started coming here instead because she not only does a WAY better job, but her lashes stay on better and her prices are extremely fair compared to the average competitor. Went here to get my first tattoo done. Went in with a rough idea of a piece I'd been dreaming up for a while. Design West generously gave me some unused underlayment to repair a small section of water-damaged tiles. I’d been to 4 places looking for the right thickness and without paying an arm and a leg for such a small job. The owner took the time to rummage through his warehouse and found the end of an old roll and kindly passed it along without asking for anything in return. When their business depends on larger orders for new installations, I was relieved to have the personalized attention for something so insignificant in their books, but important for good relationships.

Our basement had a mild flood and since we cleaned it up on our own quickly, our home owners insurance said the carpet was not damaged and refused to help us. As a first time homeowner, this was a nightmare, but National Flooring Brokers came in and made the repair process stress-free for us. We love our new carpet and plan to come back with all our flooring needs in the future!

This time around, Seth from Utah Best Plumbing came to our rescue on an urgent basis. Our plumbing was acting up and our home in Orem was getting flooded. Seth was a true professional. He gave us a heads-up call, arrived on time, and was very polite. With protective covers over his shoes, he stepped into our home - very considerate! He quickly diagnosed the problem, let me know what was going on and then got down to fixing it. The paperwork was handled smoothly too. With the company under new management, the service has been great. Without a second thought, we'll keep calling upon Utah Best Plumbing for our needs.
After getting several bids for our basement remodel, we decided to move forward with Centurion. Aaron was very professional in evaluating what we needed and put together 3 levels of remodel to make the remodel options easy to select. My wife and I had saved up for a kitchen remodel, but spent several months trying to find a contractor that we felt good about working with. This was a major investment for us and we got bids and talked with a lot of people. We are so happy that we went with Pyne Renovations & Design --- Randy and Hayden Pyne were really good to work with! Everything that we wanted, they made happen, and on things that we weren't quite sure about they gave us expert guidance. They have a real eye for design! I had heard horror stories about remodels taking twice as long as expected or costing twice as much money. This was not the case with Pyne Renovations & Design - everything went very smoothly and they communicated with us very well about both costs and timelines. There were some tricky parts of the remodel (like redoing a window) that they really made perfect and we were so happy with it. I also want to add that there were lots of little touches that they did, that we did not even expect or ask for. All of their subs were cleancut, hardworking individuals and we always felt very comfortable with everybody on the team. I highly recommend these guys!

Mark Watson and Pestify did an incredible job. We came home from vacation to an infestation of ants in our kitchen, mud room and even upstairs bathroom. Pestify came out the next day did a deep dive inspection and then told us his specific plan of attack. He did inside and outside and everything in between and after 2 days not a single ant can be found inside our house. I have used Stewart’s lawn and their tree and shrubs service for years. We recently added pest control. Our first treatment was this morning. The technician was very professional. I enjoyed watching the insects get what they had coming.
UPDATE: When the owner saw my review below he contacted me personally and did everything he could to make it right. The same worker was sent back to my house and he did a more thorough job and used 2 methods of ant killer instead of just randomly spraying around. I haven’t had a problem with ants since. The worker admitted he was feeling rushed and had a tough day the first time he came. I appreciate their professionalism and kindness and willingness to fix the problem on all levels. If that had been my experience from the beginning I would have been really happy with this company. But I was left with a bad ant problem for a month and a half so I say 4 stars.If you want to wash your money down the drain, use this pest control company.My HOA hired them to spray outside, but I paid extra for them to come spray in my house. They over booked themselves though trying to do so many houses in one day, and so they did not do a good job. The guy was in my house less than 5 minutes. He did not spray in some rooms at all, he sprayed around some doors and windows but not others. I told him I had an ant problem in the upstairs and he did nothing to address the main problem. He said they would come back and spray around the house another day because they were too busy to do it that day, and I never saw them come back.Since they came I have had several ant infestations in my house a week. In more rooms than I did before this pest control came. I tried to be understanding and asked if the pesticides took time. They responded that it takes up to 3 weeks to do its job of killing the ants (I have never had to wait 3 weeks for results with other pest control companies I have used in the past but whatever). I waited 3 weeks and then a month and now its been over a month and a half and I am still dealing with ants. Every time its more ants before. I am so frustrated. I wrote the company to tell them it was not working and that I want them to re-spray or refund me. Its been a week and I have gotten zero response from them.Horrible service. They took on too big of a job and now everyone in our neighbor chat agrees they are terrible and no one wants to rehire them. Good for you guys booking such a big job, Arete, but you aren't going to get repeat costumers the way you currently do things.

Peter came by and treated/inspected my house. I was at work, so it wasn't until after he'd finished and left that I saw his messages regarding any concerns I had around the house. I replied anyway and mentioned a wasp nest I was aware of (again, this was after he'd already left), but not to worry about it. Peter insisted on coming back to the property to make sure it wasn't missed.
Ryan with BRD always ensures he takes care of our issues, and living out in the country presents challenges with pests! Ryan made sure to follow up with us after he couldn’t come inside due to my illness. He made sure to return and he took care of where we needed spider control. Since BRD has been servicing our home we haven’t had the issues we were experiencing living on 10 acres in the middle of farmland presents interesting issues! I trust Ryan in my home, he is always courteous and professional!

Hiring a pro makes all the difference. You can hire anyone to trim your tree and hope it turns out ok, or you can hire a horticulturist who understands how to prune the species to get the best result. DG tree did a great job end to end and I am very happy with how they tamed our mugo pines and aspens. Worth it!

Dr. Gurney has been my lifelong chiropractor. I’ve seen many others but NOBODY compares! He is like a magician. I went to SC in 2021 and got worked on for lower back pain with Dr. Miranda. I had low back pain for about a year and a half that would annoy me pretty badly 3-5 days every month during that time. I was no longer able to perform bar squats or deadlift and had to be careful with my intensity while exercising. After seeing Dr. Miranda for over year I have never felt better in my low back. I haven’t stepped foot in the office since January 2023 and I have been able to squat with weight and have deadlifted up to 225 lbs for a working set with no problem. Dr. Miranda told me I needed to get my core stronger and after doing more core exercises and really learning how to brace my core through other online resources I have been able to do such things. I’ve been bringing Rosie to Tiff since she was a puppy. Tiff is very professional and patient as Rosie is a bit spunky. Her cuts always look great. I like that she only schedules one dog at a time. No dogs barking in a crate waiting for their owner pickup. Very personal care. I highly recommend Clips by Tiff.

They were closed.
So, I picked Happy day, and I had the best massage. I went home and took almost a 2hr. Nap. I woke up without any pain. I am thankful that I found this little place. I have gotten a lot of massages in my time.
But, this was the best. I recommend this to anyone suffering from pain. I will be going back.

There's just something different about the experience with Curt. He has a sixth sense about exactly what is needed to heal an area and relieve pain, and it seems he knows what is going to work even if I'm unable to really explain the problem. After his treatment there is always physical relief. It never fails. Beyond that, there is a deeply calming and peaceful energy about him and insight that seems to heal more than just superficial tissues. When I walk out, I feel renewed and peaceful, as it he is healing something deeper than the physical. Make an appointment, you won't be sorry!!

I've driven past this place probably hundreds of times and never had stopped in to check out what they had to offer. Today I finally broke that trend and had a massage. Massage was really good. My only part that I'm not crazy about. Is that a 90 minute massage is really more like 75... I know there's some places approach a 90 minute massage and count the time to get ready and then dressed..etc. Other than that it was a good experience.
Such a great experience. I came in, feeling stiff and sore, a bit stressed... but I left feeling relaxed and SO rejuvenated. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be coming back!
