I love ordering the jewel mix for my backyard. So much cleaner and prettier than mulch or grass. Plus it’s recycled glass, produced right here in America.
I was looking and looking for some type of yellow substrate for my aquarium. I saw several, but none had good reviews. Also some were said not to be the same color as displayed. I then stumbled across ASG and saw their yellow glass. Which was perfect for my plan to incorporate a Yellow Brick Road. So I called to make sure it would be Aquarium safe. They stated yes other than sharp edges because it is tumbled glass. I ordered 10 lbs. at first thinking it would be enough, but it wasn’t quite enough. So I placed an order for 5 lbs more. Secretly discretely got the wrong color and received red, twice. They said likely due to their new employee. Which any understanding person knows these things happen. So I honestly was entertained by the second one with a good laugh. I contacted Joan again and had a laugh with her. She stated she would personally make sure the right color was closed inside the box. Which she did that day, and they were also overly nice to include Green. Which I had mentioned would have been something I could use for the Emerald City, but had not originally thought to do. This is a great company with a great product, and they even make sure to handle complications with an upbeat attitude and effective work ethic.
