“I hired Warrior Decking to rebuild my deck from a 30 year old wood deck to a brand new Timbertech deck.
I got 4 estimates, and Warrior's bid was smack dab in the middle of all of them - which is good because I tend to go with mid-range estimates. I met with Hunter who is the sales rep and I really liked him. He was personable and friendly, and really prompt at getting with me and answering questions. I don't know anything about decks so he had all kinds of ideas that he would ask me about and then talk to me like a real person about options.

The work they did was so excellent. The deck is water proofed in all areas and the framing was reinforced with steel brackets to make sure everything hold together. I really feel like this deck is going to last forever. And the colors are SO beautiful. I'm super happy with how this worked out. They also stuck to their estimate. This was a particular area of anxiety for me because I've worked with construction builders in the past who quote you one thing, and then for some reason or another halfway through the project the price increases. I realize the unforeseen things can happen, but I prefer when companies do what they can to hedge those possibilities when money is involved. However- they stuck to their quote down to the penny.

The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star project for me is the communication between the project manager, crew and I. It felt like the updates and communication back and forth once the demolition was done was a bit lacking. Sometimes I was expecting them to show up - and no one would. Other times I wasn't expecting anyone, and someone would show up and work overtime. I'm the kind of person who thrives on details so I would have preferred a better point of contact that could keep me updated on dates and schedules, and really communicate on the expected day to day regarding start date and expected end date.

Despite the communication issues I wouldn't change my choice. It really turned out so wonderful, and I love my new deck. I know what they built is going to last decades and I can just sit and enjoy my space and BBQ and make so many memories out there.
