“I have been going to TLC Grooming for 2 years with my mini labradoodle. Lena has done an exceptional job and my dog loves going there even though he really does not like having his ears plucked etc. Lena is leaving (boo!!!) but none of the other nearby grooming places get good reviews. I can't recommend TLSC more. They are great and I will try to find someone else there who does as great a job as Lena.“

They take such great care of him and always greet us and Bogey with smiles! I feel so comfortable leaving my dog with them because they care about our pup just as much as we do. “We recently rescued a cat who was matted and quite stinky. Meowser was able to comb out his matts and give him a good bath. He was returned to us smelling lovely and looking beautiful. He didn't seem traumatized at all. We plan on having him return every 4 months to keep him clean as he struggles to do this himself.“

“Clean, affordable, and such great customer service! My parents found them a few months ago and have been so happy with multiple services with their Cockapoo. I then took my Golden Retriever in and have been so happy!

My previous groomer’s prices have gradually increased at every visit, and I was having to wait over a week to get in. My Golden Retriever gets matted hair easily, and the previous place always wants to cut/shave every matts out, regardless of the size. The previous groomer often shaved his entire backside, even when the matting was minor. I felt like they just took the easy way out, instead of what looked best on my dog.

A Fur Affair got my dog in quickly (same day!), combed out all the matts, and was about half the price I was paying before. My Golden looked and smelled so good after his visit here!

We’re definitely going to schedule future baths, groomings, nail care, etc. here! And we’re going to refer friends/family to try them out too!“

“Isabella !!!!!she's amazing ! Thank you We are from Seattle visiting family and I wanted my golden doodle Elon to groom here at spa due to positive experience year before. Isabella not only did what I requested plus more! Elon looked so great that the length, butt, face and feet areas are perfectly groomed! And that full fluffy tail is so beautiful After the grooming Elon didn't looked stressed or dislike the time in the spa. I can say it was the best groom Elon's ever had! And his hair is soooooooo soft to touch and he didn't get any razor burns to boot. Isabella is fantastic in understanding my requests and produced the result . Spa is always clean and on time. “I went to a workshop Lynne hosted. She taught me how to walk my 80 pound dog and not have him pull on the leash. Previously, he would pull me down the sidewalk and I could barely hold onto him. Now, he walks beside me and doesn’t pull on the leash at all.“

“I’m always pleased with the grooming that Vanessa does on our Yorkie. She not only does a great job, she’s quick at getting it done and done well! Her personality is calm and friendly.My Yorkie gets anxious and licks at his paws when they are getting washed at home and Vanessa has talked to me about this behavior when his paws are getting groomed with her. She does what she can to groom him but also keeping him safe from hurting himself during the process. I feel that she does care about her pet clients and does all she can to keep our Yorkie safe.I also have an appreciation for her as a working mother. Her home is on the other side of the wall from her grooming facility. I have seen the benefits of her being able to take a quick break from her business to be there for her children. “We had an excellent experience with this business. We were visiting from out of state for a funeral, so we needed daycare. Even though the service we needed wasn't technically available, the owner seemed concerned for the care of our dog and made an exception. She took on the responsibility herself to care for our baby, who isn't used to daycare or kennels. She really helped our stress level during a challenging time.
All the staff seemed very nice and we picked up our happy healthy dog when we were done.

“I love Camp Bow Wow in Sandy! The staff are all amazing and do such a great job taking care of the dogs. My dog (Raiden) is a VERY energetic pup who needs at least 3-4 hours of exercise per day, and on the days when I can't do that at home, Camp Bow Wow swoops in and saves the day! Raiden absolutely loves Camp Bow Wow and practically dislocates my arm trying to get inside. Now that you know how my dog lives for this place, let's break down the particulars.

Pros:
- Staff are wonderful and clearly love dogs.
- Dogs are allowed to play in size appropriate pens so there are no small pups getting caught up in big dog drama.
- Dogs are rotated out to the cabins on busy days so the rooms don't get too full.
- Staff do an excellent job of answering calls as soon as possible, even on busy days.
- Smaller play areas allow staff to keep a pretty good eye on dogs.
- Web cams! I absolutely watch Raiden all day long when he is at Camp Bow Wow.
- Packages that offer discounted day care for either half or full days.

Cons:
- No outdoor space - not a deal breaker, but it would be really nice for my pup to have the option to enjoy the sunshine.
- Dogs may pick up some bad manners so make sure your pup is well trained and you reinforce the good behavior when you get home.
- Sometimes the staff are super busy so they may not see misbehavior right away (nothing dangerous, mostly just humping or pestering the calm dogs).
- Your pup will probably come home stinky, I keep wipes in the car and Raiden gets a wipe down every time.

All things considered, Camp Bow Wow in Sandy is a great place to take your pup if they have some serious energy to burn or need some play time.“

We had Aurora as our groomer and she did a great job with what we had requested. The team was also very patient as I am sure I probably had a lot of nervous doggy daddy questions.
