Their prices are fair, their workmanship is superb and they always answer the phone when I call with a question. I highly recommend Zao Electric for all of your electrical needs. These guys even clean up after themselves! Thank you, Don and Christer for a pleasant experience.“

“I own a commercial building in American Fork, but live out of state. My tenant contacted me 6 PM on a Saturday about a burning smell coming from the electric panel in the door feeling super hot to the touch. He'd already called another company - - - - one of those plumbing heating and air type places-- who had quoted $2500 to replace both electrical panels and said it needed to be done right now, or power would need to stay off until it could be done. Obviously not a good suituation for a business that needs to be open! In my experience I'd rather work with an independent electrician, so I did a quick search and found Barry with Black Mountain Electric. Barry answered the phone himself, which is to me a good sign. You know sometimes when you call a contractor and you can just tell over the phone thatthey're a Stand-up-Guy? That was Barry. When I asked if he could help (Even though it was Saturday evening) he said "what the heck why not?" and no exaggeration he was there with my tenant within 30 minutes, and had the problem fixed within the hour to the tune of only $320 (Single pinched wire caused breaker to overheat).Barry will definitely be my go to electrician for my Utah property. And those panels are indeed very old, So while he's fixed the immediate problem I've decided I will schedule him soon to do a full upgrade on both panels.Service: Electrical panel replacement or upgrading“
