Went to urgent care for pain in my leg and it looked like when i got there I had a huge bruise on my front calf. After I got home, another lady (Caleena Longworth (MD) ordered a ultrasound (because I had a hard time walking) for next day and Joshua Told, (DO) told me that the ultrasound was inconclusive and they couldn't tell if i had a blood clot or not so they just put me on blood thinners (xarelto) JUST IN CASE. I asked him what happens if I don't even have a blood clot and he said "well i cant foresee the future". He should have ordered a new ultrasound instead of just putting someone on blood thinners for the hell of it. This has been a fiasco!!... read full review
There are some excellent physicians at Tanner. That being said their PATIENT PORTAL well.... SUCKS!!!! I don't know if it's due to an inferior platform or employees that don't do their jobs to update and communicate on it. I have been going there for years and there are 0 ... ZERO entered health updates for labs, tests, etc. Now lets compare that to the U of U health portal. It is updated within the day. IHC's will usually be updated by the next day. I love my doctors there but sometimes I have wandered outside of Tanner in search for better communication and CARE. Please pull it together Tanner Clinic, your patients deserve better.
The Caregivers at this facility are as good as anywhere else, but the Website and patient portal is the WORST that I have had to deal with. Through the Patient Portal you can find out if you have an appointment coming up, but it doesn't even list who the appointment is with. You cannot reschedule or cancel an appointment in the Portal and that's a problem if you have an appointment Monday Morning and you need to Cancel it and it is on a weekend after hours. They cause their own problems with the poor patient portal. The Portal is also littered with continuos "Health Data Summaries" that are not even pertinent.
