Great old school barber shop with amazing prices. You can't make appointments; it's first come first serve. You might have to wait a little while depending on the time you come in, but it's usually not too long. I've never received a haircut here that I didn't like. Highly recommended.

I am glad to replicate my review from Yelp to Google:First thing first, I am glad to give a 5-star, 99/100, A+ rating.I must admit that I am a lazy person, having lived in the Layton area for more than 10 years, I always go to the nearest and the same barber and am too lazy to explore other barbers. After seeing my barber keep raising prices during and after the pandemic, I am eventually fed up with them and end up finding J&P on Yelp.A $17 (as of 06/2023) haircut for both men and women is definitely one of the most affordable (if not the most affordable)in Layton/Ogden area. It is a shame to see other local barbers raise the price from 15ish/20ish before the pandemic...read full review
