“We recently moved into a new (to us) home and wanted our HVAC systems inspected for potentially problematic areas. My first experience was with Brent, aka Spiderman. Brent was all over the roof replacing exhaust and intake caps and cutting away rotting insulation and replacing it with new and improved materials. He inspected the vents and determined they must have been cleaned recently, thoroughly checked the furnace burners and all the intake and exhaust piping on both units. I felt very good and got my clean bill of health. Unfortunately, it was short-lived. One evening when I came home, I heard a horrendous noise coming from my outdoor units and determined it must be coming from the compressor. I made the call, and the next day Bobby came to my rescue. I was immediately impressed with his diagnostic method, offering his theory and explaining his findings every step of the way, ultimately determining that we had a bad compressor. Not what I wanted to hear. However, he assured me the replacement would be painless and cost me nothing, as the unit was still under warranty. Sure, I'd heard that before. Boy, was I wrong. The next afternoon, I received word that he had the compressor and would be over to swap it out. I was looking forward to seeing the procedure and would be out of work in about an hour. Well, it was all done by the time I got home: 100% painless and cost-free. A man of his word. I highly recommend Hill & Mehr for all your heating and air conditioning needs.“
