I really don't like to leave negative reviews but I want really disappointed by Annie's service. First off her salon was really dirty. I understand that hair salons will always have bits and pieces around but there was a huge hair clump of hair right by my feet. Most salons will at least sweep away their last customers hair. As for the straightening (I've been straightening my hair for 20 years) it left much to be desired. My hair is normally glossy and smooth right after a straightening but not this time. It's was frizzy and the curl was still present. I was so bummed since I paid almost double what I paid my usual stylist.

I used to fly to LA to get my hair done until I discovered Annie at StraighthairUtah.com . Annie is an expert at her craft. She cares about her clients and knows all things hair straightening. I go to her for Japanese hair straightening, hair cuts and highlights. Annie is simply the best, period.

I’ve had Japanese hair straightening several times. The last time I received the treatment, it did not take and I was so upset — Annie fixed all that!She is amazing, experienced, a perfectionist and just absolutely wonderful. I have thick, curly, wavy untamable frizzy hair naturally. I know I have extremely difficult hair to work with - to the point that hairbrushes could be lost when brushing my hair.Japanese hair straightening is a life saver when done correctly. Annie is so patient and kind. I was so beyond happy with the time I spent with her and the attention and time she took with me to get the absolute perfect results.
