Thirty years ago next month I brought this bridal gown to Henrie’s for cleaning and preservation treatment. It was placed in a beautiful white box with a clear plastic window for display, and sealed closed with white duct tape. I’ve been able to admire the bodice through the window over the years, which they carefully stuffed with acid-free tissue so I could remember my girlish figure ?, but until today I have never broken the seal. I always wondered if the terrible black stains on the hem of the dress (incurred from a long wedding day) came out, or if the cost of preserving the dress was worth it. First time using Henries, friendly service, no pricing given despite asking, but left my suit coats with them anyway figuring how much could it be. I appreciate the text taking you to the app to track the order. They weren’t ready by 5 the next day as promised, but wasn’t in a rush so that was ok. Overall decent job on the cleaning except one of my coats came back full of lint and stuff like they dropped it on a dirty floor. I am quite disappointed in the result as this one happens to be my favorite sport coat. So not sure where I will go next when I need dry cleaning
