My name is Katy Beukers and I have been doing the back decompression with canyon clinic chiropractic for awhile now. Today was my 7th treatment. I was not sure at first that this would work...but it does! It has really helped with my back pain. I have moderate to severe bulging discs in my lumbar back, spinal stenosis and scoliosis. I have done radiofrequency ablations in the past which have helped manage the pain. This year the insurance was giving me grief about getting an ablation done and Dr. Spencer Pierce wanted me to try the decompression treatments he offers. After the first session I felt good, for that day. The second session, was 2 days later and I felt good for that day, but at night my back was not happy! It knew something had been done! By morning I was feeling good again. The third session was again a bit spicy at night. But the constant, sharp pain in my back was gone! I continued with every other day or so until session 5. Now I'm going once a week and so far the pain has not come back! I'm curious to see how long this treatment lasts. People have said it doesn't last at all but Dr. Spencer says this should last a long time. The radio frequency ablation would last about a year. If this lasts that long I will be thrilled! And hey! no needles or drugs! And maybe this is actually helping rather than just covering up the pain! Everyone at the clinic has been extremely kind and helpful. If you have back pain I can definitely recommend them!
