“I recently had a bad fall that resulted in being life flighted due to a skull/brain injury. Two weeks after surgery I developed late onset Bell’s palsy. For two weeks I struggled with the palsy. About four weeks from the initial injury, Dr. Goodwin felt that sufficient healing had occurred from my skull surgery, and he felt it safe enough to adjust my Atlas, which was severely out of place. Within minutes of the Atlas being adjusted, I began to have minor movement in my face, and over the next 3-5 days, the palsy was mostly gone.
