“Great first experience at Dirk's. I dropped off an heirloom quality down comforter that could use a refresh as well as a dress. They set expectations low upon dropoff that stains may or may not be removable (as you probably should with any type of stain removal service) and returned a really high quality clean. My down comforter cost $55 to clean and was returned spotless and white and fluffy (so nice to have the loft back in the down). I'm ecstatic as it is one of my favorite possessions. The dress clean was $20. I have no idea what others would charge but I went to Dirk's because of the reviews that claim fair and reasonable pricing for the results and I'm not disappointed.“
“I've hung on to a tie of my dad's (who died in 1971) for over 50 years even though it had a very noticeable grease stain on it. Today I took it to Village Cleaners, hoping they could get the spot out. I didn't think it was possible to remove such an old stain, but they did it. I almost cried. My husband is going to wear the tie to our son's November wedding. Thank you!Service: Special care fabric cleaning“
