“Great first experience at Dirk's. I dropped off an heirloom quality down comforter that could use a refresh as well as a dress. They set expectations low upon dropoff that stains may or may not be removable (as you probably should with any type of stain removal service) and returned a really high quality clean.My down comforter cost $55 to clean and was returned spotless and white and fluffy (so nice to have the loft back in the down). I'm ecstatic as it is one of my favorite possessions. The dress clean was $20. I have no idea what others would charge but I went to Dirk's because of the reviews that claim fair and reasonable pricing for the results and I'm not disappointed.“

Then my own dress and same expectations, they handled with care cleaned the dresses amazingly and set realistic expectations. I paid I think $160 for everything which was great for me! YESTERDAY I took in ONE Aries’s dress chiffon material floor length. She quoted me $169 and then $90!!! I took it to another place for $25.

“Thirty years ago next month I brought this bridal gown to Henrie’s for cleaning and preservation treatment. It was placed in a beautiful white box with a clear plastic window for display, and sealed closed with white duct tape. I’ve been able to admire the bodice through the window over the years, which they carefully stuffed with acid-free tissue so I could remember my girlish figure ?, but until today I have never broken the seal. I always wondered if the terrible black stains on the hem of the dress (incurred from a long wedding day) came out, or if the cost of preserving the dress was worth it. I am posting this review to share the utter delight I feel to discover this beautiful white gown without a stain on the hem, or anywhere else, thirty years later. Job well done, Henrie’s. My daughter is getting married in October. She is not wearing my dress, but chances are we will be bringing both dresses to you for your stellar service.
