A couple years ago I was subjected to the infamous con artist contractor that was supposed to build me a tiered backyard with a decent sized retaining wall since my house is on a pretty steep hill. About $7000 later and a “disappearing contractor” I had nothing to show for it, but a very poorly built half retaining wall that a year later had already started rolling down my hill.
