Wimberley Gardens is a wonderful nursery with a great selection of plants, flowers, trees, and gifts. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, providing excellent customer service. They offer a variety of plants that can survive extreme weather and deer, making them suitable for different environments. The nursery also sells dirt and potting soil and has a beautiful storefront. However, some customers have noted that the nursery does not provide restrooms, which can be inconvenient for visitors. Despite this, many appreciate the helpful staff and the wide selection of indoor and outdoor plants. The team, especially Pearlie, goes above and beyond to assist customers, even helping with special gifts and after-hours pickups. Overall, Wimberley Gardens remains a favorite spot for plant lovers in the area.
Editing my 5 star only review from 6 years ago to add an actual review: I've purchased trees, bushes, flowers, soil, and plant installation (not sure if they still do plant installation) but Matt, Jenny, and the rest of the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable on helping me pick out what I need.
I enjoy the selection of plants for this area. The associates are friendly and courteous. There is one thing that may they do not provide is customer restrooms. Every business shall provide this facility. I could not complete by shopping because of a natural function. I have been there during previous visits and was allowed to use facilities. Two weeks ago in September 2024 2 of the associates stated restrooms were not available. Some customers cannot wait!

I want to share how incredible Pearlie and her garden team are at Wimberley Gardens. I wanted to get something very special for my mother-in-law because her sweet cat just passed, and was not able to make it to the shop before five. Pearlie was able to find the absolute perfect remembrance plant and I am so grateful for her doing all of those extra things to make sure that my mother-in-law had the most beautiful gift. She went above and beyond, picking out the plant, taking my card over the phone and then setting it aside somewhere where I could pick it up after hours.
