David and Obed came out today for a tree trimming job at my Wimberley home and I couldn't be happier with the finished work! David had came out previous to take a look at what I needed and let me know it was a small job but they'd be happy to tackle it for me. five stars! cannot say enough good things about jake, valentin, and the billy goat clearing crew. i love trees and think of them as beings unto themselves. as such, i had serious reservations about a crew coming in and hacking on the ones that live on my property. valentin and team were wonderful about only cutting the dead wood (as i asked) and taking the minimum number of live branches overhanging my roof necessary to prevent another infestation of carpenter ants in my house — even though it would have made sense to most people to cut out all the smaller junipers and turn my property in the country into a city-park-like manicured space. in 7.5 hours, they were able to do all the work necessary on my acre property, including chipping all cuttings from their work plus the huge pile of branches i had cut myself post-ice storm last winter. pricing was likewise reasonable. highly, highly recommend.
