I have nothing but good stuff to say about the Whitney family practice. My first experience with them was when I went there accompanying my father for his appointment. Angela at the front desk is a Southern sweetheart and very friendy. Even though she is always busy answering the phone, checking patients in & out and other administrative duties, she is very efficient and effective. She has been nothing but polite and classy during all my visits. As well as my conversations with her on the phone. My fathers appointment went excellent with Dr Henderson handling my father's presciption refills and newly assigned outpatient physical therapy with ease. He offered and made recommendations to some if his prescriptions and also gave my father some valuable information in regards to his physical therapy. I was impressed. He's a down to earth guy. I was impressed on how he and my father communicated. I've been back several times with my father and mother and every visit has been above expectation. I've also heard my father call the office for presciption refills and other needs and they have always been handled expeditiously. Even a situation where my father had a mix up with his mail order pharmacy, the situation was handled quickly. The folks in the office make things happen without delay. Not one thing to even think about complining about. Just recently I became a customer there and like above I have had nothing except positive experiences. Unlike my father who typically sees Dr Henderson, I saw NP Jennifer Allen. She saw me on short order after I injured myself. She provided diagnosis and ordered imaging tests to confirm. (Which she was correct on). I had X rays and MRI in hand within a week. I was quickly reffered out to a specialist and was again able to be seen within a week. After I asked to be referred to another specialist for another opinion they easily obliged. During all these referrals for images and specialists the office took care of all my insurance needs and also the Dr notes for each office to refer too. NP Allen's nurse Tonya is super awesome also! Thru all my appointments and referrals Tonya and I have had several conversations on the phone and she constantly puts all the needed pieces together. When I go to thank her, her answer is always "no problem" and similar. Both her and Jennifer go out of their way to ensure patient care and comfort. I hate being injured, but am glad I found NP Allen and Tonya. They have been very caring and professional in my healthcare. The entire office has been fantastic for my family.

Dr. Henderson took GREAT care of my husband until his death and also took GREAT care of me!!! I have never had a more caring Dr. in my life. There is NO BETTER than Dr. Henderson. The ladies at the front desk are AWESOME!!! With everything they have to deal with, they keep smiling. The nurses also go above and beyond the call. Love and miss you all.
