2024: There's a reason I update my reviews of Dr. Rutherford's clinic. They're simply amazing! Always helpful & are usually willing to work with schedules. We drive from an hour away just to come here for professional (but warm) service, cuddles, treats & more than fair prices! Dr. Rutherford has seen 5 of my dogs over the years & I recommend her to my friends & family as well.

I am new to the FW area and it is always a challenge to find a new vet who you can respect and trust with the health of one of your family members! If you can relate, I highly recommend you give Bowie Animal Hospital a try. EVEN IF YOU LIVE IN SOUTH OR WEST FORT WORTH it is worth a trip to Weatherford for this level of care, especially at this price point!My 15 year old Yorkie had been vomitting and otherwise feeling puny for 3 days, right before Thanksgiving and I was panicking over the thought he might get worse during the holiday. They actually interacted with my dog more than just the bare minimum for the exam. He is a large hyper dog so many don't give him attention. Price was cheaper then the vet we normally took him to. They even gave him can squeeze cheese with lots of treats. Will definitely be returning in the future
