Ellis County Pet Resort has taken outstanding care of my dog! I have nothing but trust and respect for this company as an employee and a customer! The dogs are barley in the kennel during the day and the only time they are in the kennel is for meals! There is always someone watching the dogs and the company has a great cleaning process of the kennels to prevent any illnesses going around. Definitely the best place to bring your dog and a fun place to work! As employees at Ellis County Pet Resort our number 1 priority is ensuring your dog is happy and safe! We love to cuddle each and every dog and play fetch with them!

Super nice staff. 5 starsThe facility looked clean. 5 starsThe staff looked like they genuinely cared for the animals, which is comforting.I'd give 3 stars for the pricing. I was new to the resort. They have a first boarding day free as long as you book more than one day, and you need to ask for it. They do not offer it at reservation. If you get a play package, they still charge you for that day. I brought in my two large pups (70 & 55ish lbs) with the highest package, which is three 15 minute play times a day, a gourmet treat, and a bedtime story one on one with a staff member, one day picture (their photos didnt include other dogs but they said they did play well with...read full review

We have utilized Ellis County Pet Resort for both day care, both half and full days, and for overnight boarding, and our cocker spaniel absolutely loves it! He gets excited as soon as we exit the highway, and he heads back with their personnel without any coaxing. He loves the (supervised) interaction with other dogs and the attention from the staff. They group the dogs by size and provide covered areas for them to play to keep them out of the elements. There is plenty of water play during the hot summer.
