My daughter has been attending Ellis County Martial Arts for about 6 months. Mr. Ray and his staff are professional and knowledgeable. Not only is my daughter learning a new skill but she is learning discipline while at the same time, having the most fun of any sport she has tried.

I enrolled my two boys, age 6 and 7, in classes with Mr. Ray at Ellis County Martial Arts. My children enjoy class and further are excited about attending class twice a week. I highly recommend Ellis County Martial Arts.

My son absolutely loves coming here and looks forward to class every week. I've been to other karate places in town and they were chaotic & unprofessional. This place is very different, I love that the kids are separated to help minimize distractions so they can learn. The parents are able to still watch and see everything from the cameras in the lobby.

From Ellis County Martial Arts

After 33 years of professional teaching (over 27 years in Ellis County), Mr. Ray has retired from operating a full time commercial school. At present, he only teaches privately to select students ages 14 and up - for more information, please visit the website. If you are seeking group classes or want to enroll kids under the age of 14, please consider Red Oak Academy of Martial Arts, owned and operated by one of Mr. Ray's current black belt instructors.
