First time visit at petco. Crystal and Dr. Biden our were excellent and informative. They were attentive to my cat and the service was great. The one thing I did not like was that they suggested an x-ray, which I would have liked to get done if it didn't cost $500 just for the x-ray. This price is absolutely ludicrous. I would expect that from an emergency vet but not a regular one. This price is not feasible for clients looking for pet care, and beyond what I am willing to pay. So the service here is great, I like that I got a coupon for a free exam, but the prices are high here and I will not be returning due to this. Great experience and service I received from Dr Skees! He is great along with staff member who checked me real pet lovers. I did not feel that it was all about the money as I feel when I visit other vets for my pets. Dr Skees is very knowledgeable and he cares and is not trying to get over on you and your fur baby. He only recommends what he feels is necessary for your pet and not a ton of unnecessary test that cost lots of money just for you to leave feeling bad that you can’t afford the extra test the other clinics throw at you just to get money. They were very kind and understanding when having to put my 17 year old cat down. This was very hard for me, and they gave us as much time as we needed. They got me in quickly to avoid having her be in pain for longer.
