The company came highly recommended by neighbors and on the community Facebook page, but it turned out they were scammers. I interacted with Stewart Sass, and my wife with Craig Owen. Stewart's quote on July 9, 2024, was competitive, and he was endorsed by community Facebook groups. Choctaw Industries quoted a wood fence replacement project for my Katy Home. They requested my check for $1400 down-payment on 11/30/2023 to purchase the material and promised to return the next day to install all new fence posts and explained that they would use screws to secure all new fence boards. Candace and Stew Sass are scam artists, and I'm so glad I did not hire them for all my planned projects. I am 71 years old and had saved for months to get these projects completed before I retire from work. $1400.00 is a lot of money to spend for absolutely nothing. Hopely they both will go to jail for stealing from the elderly. Posting a review does not do enough to protect the community from these thieves.

The took down my dead tree. I was hoping for more firewood from it, but they either took it or disposed of it. I got one little pile then had to keep on them to come back and grind up stump. I had to pay in cash so waited till they came to go to bank. Didn't want that much in my house. Now I'm using another company to finish what they were going to do next and never gave me quote or returned calls. I wish I had used these guys from the start! Much better, more reliable, and much better prices! I had to rush and get there tree taken down cause it was losing branches too quickly.
