It was my first professional haircut since I moved to Bellmead… I had been procrastinating and my hair was very “shaggy”. When someone lets their hair get a lot longer than they normally like, it’s hard for a hair stylist to figure out what they want from just looking at their hair. My stylist was very patient and asked me a lot of questions, and showed me pictures of various styles from a magazine – and I got a hair cut that I really like!

Parkdale barber shop is a trip back in time! It's a newly decorated, in vintage style, ole school barber shop with dead animals on the wall (deer, fish,etc.)! There might even be a Harley parked out front (Cody's)! I have been going there since 1984 and I refuse to let anyone cut my hair but one of the Pirelo boys or brother Von, who works half days now! This is not a frilly barbershop and there is ample testosterone floating about when you walk in! Give them a try and tell Mike and Cody Pirelo hello for me! You will be glad you let them "lower your ears"! ,

I was looking for a place to make my place to get a haircut, shave and some great conversation. I asked a buddy where he goes and he mentioned this place on South Valley Mills across from SPEC'S. I was familiar with the area and found the shop over by BANKSTON'S. The place was called University Barber Shop located at 1325 South Valley Mills Drive, in the University Centre Strip Mall. As I went in, I saw the place had about five barber chairs and each chair had a barber and clients getting cuts and shaves. I checked out the work being done from a long row of seats with others waiting to get trimmed up. I watched and when the time was right, a guy I know now was Joe Bruce (the barber) said he was ready for whoever is next. He was as I can best describe, was a crossover from a Military Veteran/Hippie salt and pepper hair and full well groomed beard. My kind of American Patriot as he and I had much in common. he asked how I wanted my hair cut. I had been growing it for a friend, but he doesn't need it anymore. I left it to him telling him just cut it. He gave me a Men's Regular hair cut. He tapered it in the back and shaved it around the edges and ears. Over all a great cut and conversation by a guy I just met and I told Joe I'd be back! $16.00 bucks for the cut so I gave him that plus a generous tip. They also cut women's hair as just before me a woman came in waiting for the women barber to do whatever she was having done. They also wash your hair for a charge too! Joe told me he has been in this same place over 30 years! Yeah, I'll be back! Good job Joe!!!! Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention since if you're familiar with them you might not see it from the street. University Barber Shop (254) 753-9305 is located at 1325 South Valley Mills Drive and Hours: Tues-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Sat. 8:00-11:00 am. My first visit today for a pedicure and I am very pleased. I got an appointment the day after I called. There was a huge range of colors to choose from. The chair was comfortable. The foot and leg massage was so relaxing and so was the warm towel wrap. I had a classic pedicure and then paid more for gel polish so it would last longer. The lady did a very neat and tidy job. I will definitely go again and recommend to others.

Mia or Maya is THE BEST!! I own Spaces In-Between Cleaning (cleaning service) and I do hair at the Cutting Edge Salon, so my hands are ALWAYS in chemicals and water, maintaining healthy nails is a struggle for my every day life, unfortunately. HOWEVER, this salon in particular keeps me up to par and beyond, I am so thankful for them, entirely!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And for the record, I have been in A LOT of salons around town and surrounding areas. If you want gorgeous healthy nails, this salon will more than meet your needs.

Had a mommy-daughter birthday treat for mani-pedis for my five year old and me. I called on my way over to make sure there was walking space and by the time we got there the water was filling in the basins.
Nancy and Jenny were wonderful! Not only did we get quality work, but both ladies were so nice and attentive to my daughter and her questions/observations the whole time. My dip looks great and my daughter’s nails and toes are perfection. We will definitely be back.

I went on a whim to try out a different salon and have gotten two pedicures so far. Both times I had fantastic customer service everything was very clean and the staff made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My first pedicure was gel and second was regular polish. Both stayed chip free for weeks and color selection was large.

I have been here several times for a massage with Ann and the experience has always been a 10! Last time I was in excruciating pain and had to stop the massage. Ann was so sweet and said let me do one thing before you leave to see if it helps. Took my daughter here today for a nose & rook piercing. The lady at the front (I think she's the manager) was very nice & welcoming. I have always heard good things about the quality of the tattoos here so when my daughter said she wanted these two piercings I thought of this place immediately. The piercer was very knowledgeable. I had a few questions about whether the anatomy of my daughter's ear (she has small ears) would allow for a rook & eventually an industrial on the opposite ear and the way she answered the question made me trust that she knew what she was talking about. If you're looking for excellent quality & great customer service definitely give Infamous Ink a try you won't be disappointed!
the lady who answered my calls Lisa is so patient and nice. she handles herself very well and I felt like I had a friend at the end of the day. The tech Tyler out of Killeen was awesome! he let me see inside the sewer line and did an excellent job.
Steven & Horatio found our troublesome water leak a few feet out from the foundation likely caused by the ground shifting in the dry weather & cracking the incoming waterline PVC pipe. They replaced the cracked PVC with more a flexible PEX section, & I had them replace the old original gate-valve shutoff with a ball valve instead.
Jeff, Jacob and Lacey were absolutely amazing! They answered every question we had and were extremely informative and friendly. We had a completely new system (inside and outside)
installed. We look forward to many more years with LP.

First class from start to finish. When our master bedroom shower started leaking, we knew it was going to be a significant project. The entire process could not have been done better. John came to our home and carefully measured everything. We then selected the tile to replace the old at their location on Lake Air. John gave us the price for the work to include everything except plumbing and glass door rehanging. He even arranged the needed carpentry repair of the adjacent cabinet. His team, led by Diego, carefully removed the old tile and did a fantastic job of rebuilding it, while ensuring the waterproofing was done much better than the original construction. We could not be happier with the entire process and the finished product!
I had a carpet emergency and these guys fixed me up. Family owned business with GREAT pricing, and exceeding customer expectations is their goal. Quentin, our installer, was very meticulous in his installation. He went out of his way to answer questions, and was very thorough in explaining how and why. Steven, the owner, is awesome as well. I recently had a project in Waco that was an extensive remodel of a 1903 bungalow. Blake Henry, owner of MOTEX Construction, showed up the first day of my search for a contractor and secured the job. After a detailed estimate was agreed upon, Blake had a crew on the job the very next day.I was not local to oversee the work so I relied on my project manager from Motex, Chuy. My phone calls were always answered or returned, text messages and pictures kept me up to date and it was always clear what the next steps were. Chuy was instrumental in keeping sub contractors informed and on the job.In the end my project was finished on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier with the service from MOTEX Construction. I would highly recommend them and will use them again on future projects.
Everyone at Redwoods is SO NICE! Even if you only have a small job, they will take care of what you need and at a great price. We had our lumber delivered since we live about 30 minutes outside of Waco and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

I had Paul Richard take out a wall to give my house that open concept look. He installed a support beam because it was a load bearing wall. He also replaced all the Sheetrock and textured the walls. I am very satisfied with the care and effort Paul put in to his work to insure the project was done right and to my satisfaction.
I have to echo the sentiments of the other reviewers here. Jim Williams and his team have been very attentive to our needs from Day 1. Jim Williams was available anytime we had a question or concern and worked with his team to remedy it. His customer service was impeccable and he even gave design suggestions and came up with creative solutions. His team was respectful and attentive as well. Tibor went above and beyond to make us happy and we are some picky folks! In the end, we have a beautiful modern bathroom renovation that we are extremely happy with! Would highly recommend them!

I do not like using pesticides but my home remedies just were not working and I dreaded using pest control. Brown's pest control came and they worked with me as I walked around the house with them. They made me feel secure and safe and now the cockroach problem is no longer an issue. Thank you Brown's for being great customer service and providing a very necessary business in ridding us of all those cockroaches and pests that drive me crazy!

Many dentists in my experience are so concerned with finding how many procedures they can get out of a patient, instead of simply addressing the patient needs at the time. Dr. Morgan explained the issues and then asked me what I wanted to address now and then told me what I could address later. Perfect experience.

Wonderful team at Saddle Creek Dental. Staff is super friendly! I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Moore as a dentist. I am 32 weeks pregnant and Dr Moore was quick to make sure to fit me in for an emergency extraction of a very painful tooth when his schedule was super full! These people at Dental Station are the best, I had dentures made at another place, which was horrible, they were way to big for my mouth and quickly made with only 2 fittings, one for the wax mold and the 2nd to give them to me and out the door. At Dental Station I have made multiple trips, they took their time with different try ons to make sure they fit correctly. I don't live in Waco but I do not regret the drives I had to make. After a mess of going to Aspen, I came here hoping to fix a cavity issue. Turns out it was something slightly less serious but hard to explain, but Dr. McNutt explained what was happening perfectly and how easy the cavity stuff was to fix. He did an incredible job and timely. They got me in right after as well. Definitely will be returning here for cleanings and such! Great work!

She finally went to see kast last year and she loves his gentleness with her and all of her medical issues from over the years. Mom now has one of my sisters going also. This mane can get you back on your feet and keep you there.You tha man doc!!!!

Dr. McMullen is amazing! He's kind, funny, and most importantly, he's good at what he does. I came in with chronic headaches and could barely turn my neck. After a few short weeks my headaches are gone and I can turn my head again. You won't be disappointed.
Dr. Webb will make you comfortable and you will know she cares about you. I was recommended to go to Dr. Webb when my family doctor was telling me just get pain shots. I am shocked every time I see new X-rays showing more improvement on my neck. Dr. Webb is great for someone who works on their feet. My hip adjustments make such a difference. I would say try Arrowhead Chiropractic before you give up and get shots.

I have complete confidence in and am very happy with the staff at Epiphany. I've seen Dr. Mason a half dozen times in the last 3 or 4 years. I also had a minor surgical procedure done by Dr. Hatter. I like that I'm always completely informed about issues and can ask as many questions as I like! Everyone there is so kind and caring. I do wish they offered a patient portal, though.
I love the location, the front desk ladies, the techs and the vets. The office has the wear and tear of loving care — not the clinically sterile atmosphere of corporate germophobia. The cockatiel (?) will check you out before you check in, but make sure you say “pretty bird” before she does. The staff is very busy, and I have the mental prowess of a centenarian. But they’re so patient and allow time for you to collect your thoughts and ask questions. Conversation and objective feedback is comforting to me, especially since I found out yesterday that my old-man-doggie-puppy has cancer and will hopefully be sixteen next month. I pass four vet clinics to get to this place. It’s not about convenience; it’s about great care and respect for you and your family.
I write this with tears in my eyes, everyone who works for Brazos Valley Equine is amazing. Tiffany answered the phone, she was so helpful and she called me back pretty quickly. Our horse was hit by a car and his leg was broken, we didn't want to put him down if he had a chance. Sarah was kind enough to come out, she was amazing with our horse but she was so good with my husband too. Her sympathy and empathy that day will never be forgotten, we even received a heartfelt sympathy card today.. Thank you so much! God Bless You All.
Dr.Cox is the best. Very tourough and you can tell he's an animal lover. Answered all our questions, took care of our dogs. Gives honest input and advice. We trust him with the care of our animals. Staff is always helpful and very caring
I had my first visit here after finding a stray dog. Dr. Lide and his team were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with the stray dog. With their diligence and attentiveness, the stray dog was examined, given vaccines, and even an ultrasound. We plan to take all of our own pets here!
Very friendly staff that truly cares about animals. Dr. Pippin will be very upfront with you about his concerns and recommended course of action. The staff have called a couple of days after every visit to follow-up and make sure recovery is going well.

I had taken my Service dog, Chica, to the Animal Hospital, for intermitting vomiting for about 2 weeks. I was greeted by a kind and friendly receptionist and she explained there were taking walk ins today. We only waited about 10 min. and we were escorted by a friendly assistant, Ms. S . to the exam room . We were seen by the Veteran Dr. R. who was very cautious of Chica, while doing his physical examination. He took a very thorough history of Chica. He ask many questions and explained what he was finding as he completed Chica's, examination. He explained several reasons why Chica could be having vomiting episodes. He explained several alternatives for her treatment. He was so experienced and knowledgable , we decided to do as he recommended. Needless to say, my Chica was way more sick that I realized. We will be seen in about a month for more interventions and follow up. I noticed a big change in Chica's activity level by the beginning of the second day, after giving her the medication.
I feel very fortunate taking Chica to the Animal Hospital of Waco when I did.

Amber is amazing at her job! She lives to love on your babies and make them beautiful. She’s easy to communicate with regarding your wants and her to you on your pet. Her schedule is always packed so make sure you keep those scheduled appointments! Love this little local Gem.
I've been taking Rose the dog to Bow Wow for years...she is great with the dog, always has a scarf, treat and smile and best of all...a clean happy Rose! Highly recommend!

I only take my dog to Fur Pet’s Sake! They are so good with my elderly dog. They have cared for her since she was a puppy. They greet her as if she is their only groom for the day. Their quality of work is excellent, and they have created a quiet and calm environment for all the dogs in grooming and boarding. The staff really caters to each dog’s individual needs and personality.
Rae Snyder’s Infinity Pilates is & has been many good things for me. I joined the class about a year ago, primarily to regain strength after a long list of difficult circumstances. Rae doesn’t waste “time” which is important to all of us these days. She also somehow manages to see every move each of her “students” make, gently correcting as necessary. The studio is well-equipped for working most any & every area of the body. I’m in my seventies age-wise & will continue “minding Rae” at Infinity Pilates for the foreseeable future.
Love it here. Nadya and Stacy do a wonderful job on breaking the exercise’s down, so I can understand what I’m doing. They make exercise fun and the benefits are amazing. Highly recommend you take a class.
The people here are great, and really take their time to work with you. I am totally totally out of shape and they've helped me along the way. There's no condemnation and I don't feel bad about my poor shape. I can tell a big difference after just a few sessions. I go once a week and I love it.

Theresa has a gift massaging. She went straight to were it was hurting and focused on the knots I had in my body afterwards she went over my neck, shoulders and feet and didn't feel pain anymore. It was gone! She even prayed over me which was so healing. Heard me out and felt like I got a therapy/massage session all in one. She is amazing and let's God use her in a mighty way. May the Lord keeping using her for his purpose. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Can't recommend her enough she is a lovely person. So thankful I went and got my body massage I had been needing for a long time. Thankful
