So I'm parked at QT travel stop right off I-35W on Everman. It's 5pm, gotta deliver reefer load at 10pm at McLane's. Thought I should starter up just to make sure all's good just like when I shut down earlier at noon. Well she started started right up. But there was a bizarre light show going on. All my outside lights were blinking, along with the dash lights blinking too. I had no control of signals, no brake lights either. This seemed to me to be a problem only a dealer could fix. I really didn't want to go to Freightliner dealer and watch my truck dissappear for a week. I'm an owner/operator from Central California running all 48. Big Shop diesel was able to diagnose my truck’s no start issues after two mobile mechanics got it wrong one of which was from the dealership. One mechanic said I needed one new module another mechanic said it was another module. Big Shop Diesel was able to determine it was just a few wire connectors that needed to be replaced. Obviously their knowledge and experience kept me from spending money I didn’t need to spend. I’m very grateful for their knowledge and expertise in electronics.
