Houston Garden Center offers a wide variety of healthy plants at affordable prices, making it a great choice for gardening needs. Customers appreciate the good selection and early opening hours. The center is known for having excellent sales. The selection is quite plentiful. Prices are on par or slightly better than some other places. They have a wide variety of plants. Some are marked appropriately, some are a guessing game. Customer service is not welcoming and helpful.
I will give this business five stars for the care and quality of the product but 3 stars for the customer service. I recommend you either go in knowing what you want or using Google to read about whatever plant you’re looking at.
Bought mulch and since we're older we went there because they load it for you. The first time great. When we went back for more, no one was there to load it. There was an elderly man loading his own in front of us too
Inventory was a little light in February, given the freeze events in January and February, but as of March, the selection is quite plentiful. Prices are on par or slightly better than some other places when I compare their “3-gallon” plant pricing to the competition.
