I felt rushed. Someone was doing my pedicure and someone doing my nails simultaneously. I could not even relax. The person doing my pedi was rough on the massage. I had to repeatedly say, "too hard" to no avail. Btw I was one of 4 customers in the place, I could have relaxed! A worker was eating a pork chop in the pedi area. Not recommended. Gross.
Black females in Texarkana, I had a really bad experience today at this nail shop. If you have a been in this nail shop and had a good experience great but I went there today, and the lady at the front, the young looking lady with the gray hair told me wait 10 to 15 minutes I said OK I sit down and I waited. 20 minutes later, a young white girl walks in she ask her what she wanted and told her to sit down and wait it will be a little bit. Five minutes later, another lady comes from the back and tell me to go to chair six I did. She told me to go six and waited another 10 minutes. While the lady upfront, the younger gray hair, looking lady finished her customer, she told the young white girl that came in after me to come and sit down, all while I'm at the back waiting when I was there before the young white girl. Clearly they have a preference on who they want to do their nails but they will take anybody's money who sit around and wait. So I'll get up and walk out as I'm leaving there. Saying wait another five minutes. Wait I do not even turn around. I keep walking. Because if you're gonna be prejudice and racist against skin color, you don't deserve my money.
While the salon seemed clean the manicurists only spoke to my friend and I to tell us to "pick a color" for our pedicures. They spoke in their native language quite loudly to one another across the salon. The lady helping my friend said something to the young lady helping me and they both began laughing, making my friend feel very uncomfortable. It was rude! This was our first visit and we won't be back!
