Poetry Animal Hospital/Rockwall Equine Center is dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary medicine and compassionate service to the Terrell, TX community and surrounding areas. The team of experienced and knowledgeable veterinarians, including Dr. Dawn, treat each patient with care and respect, taking the time to educate pet owners on treatment and aftercare. The staff is friendly, responsive, and cost-effective, making them a trusted and recommended choice for animal care. Customers appreciate the caring, responsive team, and the clinic is known for taking excellent care of horses, cats, dogs, and sheep. The vets are highly knowledgeable and spend time answering questions, making visits comfortable. However, some clients have noted that the front desk staff can be short and unwelcoming at times, which may affect the overall experience. Despite this, many still love the vets and trust them with their pets’ health and well-being.
The best that's it! I have been taking horses here over 20 yrs and was so happy and small animal clinic opened. Dr. Britton had been my heart vet during the loss of my heart horse and dog. I love her so much. Dr Dave had been my horse vet and has been so great. You can't go wrong at this vet with anyone on staff. Oh Dr Archie helped heal a found mutt pup!
It makes sense why there’s nothing but 5 star reviews for this hospital; I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here.
We brought in a kitten after a grizzly accident and the vet here saved her life. Best value in the DFW metroplex. If you love your pets, bring them here.
I brought my big cat in for a second opinion. Dr. Brittain and Gracie and the phlebotomist were so kind and gentle with Junior. We did some testing and Dr. Brittain stayed to explain all his symptoms to me and what to expect next. I feel so relieved to have answers and to know that she really cares about her patients. I will take my other pets to this clinic. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable too.
