All Aboard! Barbershop, formerly known as Gandy's Barbershop, is a classic and well-established business celebrating its 70th anniversary in December 2024. Founder Willard Gandy, who opened the shop after graduating from Austin Barber College in 1956, has built a loyal following throughout Temple and the Central Texas area. Today, the former Texaco gas station is managed by a team of skilled contract barbers who continue Gandy's vision, providing excellent service and a laid-back, classic barbershop atmosphere. All Aboard Barbershop at 201 S. First St., formerly Gandy’s Barbershop, will be marking its 70th anniversary in December 2024. Founder Willard Gandy was fresh out of the Army and looking for something to do when he entered Austin Barber College in 1955. He graduated the following spring and worked to keep Temple clean-cut since 1979, first spendinf five years honing his skills under another barber before he opened his own shop. Today the former Texaco Texaco gas station has been under the management of his loyal staff of contract barbers are keeping Mr. Gandy's vision alive and continuing great service to theloyal following built throughout Temple and the Central Texas area.
