Ivy does an amazing job. People are always asking where I get my nails done. Whenever the grandchildren come into town I take them for a treat. Eyebrows look good because of Ivy too !
Growing up in Sugar Land, I love going to Nature Nails and getting my nails done by Ivy! She is meticulous and my nails always come out perfect. My french manicure and gel always comes out very natural looking. Ever since moving inside the loop, I have tried to ride out the mani/pedi for as long as I can. My toe polish was chipped and I didn't have time to go to Sugar Land, so I cheated and I went to a nail shop by work. Within a week the polish started to chip. The drive is totally worth it! Whenever Ivy does my pedicure, the polish doesn't chip and lasts 3-4 weeks. The nail shop is small by very clean and organized. They have a large selection of OPI nail polish along with other brands. They also have waxing, but I have yet to try it so I can't comment on it. The shop is hidden. It's right next to Kinko's and from Hwy 6 all you can see is a sign that says Nails. Give this little shop a try and be sure to ask for Ivy.
In the world of nail shop reviews, one might categorize Yelpers into two groups: those who think that guys should have no business reviewing nail salons, and those who think that if a guy goes out of his way to review a nail salon, then it must be amazing. Now, if you've read this far, I'm assuming that you're in the latter category, in which case I can wholeheartedly recommend Nature Nail for all your manicure, pedicure, and local gossip needs. The ladies in this small salon are friendly and do a great job, and yes, I have actually had my toenails painted by Ivy, who then proceeded to laugh at me, while still doing an excellent job, which I quite proudly displayed. (Now, the circumstances of the previous night that led to my toenails getting painted still remain murky, but that is a story best reserved outside of the Yelposphere.) Overall, I must say that I had a wonderful experience. And so, if you're looking for a salon to frequent on a regular basis, and if you're looking for not only a pedicure but also a place to laugh and relax and gossip, then Nature Nail is definitely worth the drive out into suburbia. Enjoy!
