I just received a voice mail message saying that 'death certificates and remains were ready for pick-up'.This message had nothing to do with me and the inept staff member instead of paying attention obviously mis-dialed.In my opinion they would be better served not leaving a voice mail over something relating to a death, but making sure they actually speak to the correct grieving party in person.This was very upsetting and disturbing as we had lost our son over 5 years ago, his first name was the same as the name they left on the voice mail.I called them to inform them of their mistake, I was talked over whilst trying to explain the situation, and the only reason I called was because somewhere, someone is grieving and I'm sure wants to know about their loved one.

The staff at Lacy Funeral home is excellent. They helped my son and I with the arrangements, and provided us with information we needed to know. Thanks for all that you helped us with. You went above and beyond to be there when we had questions.

I can't say enough positive things about Lacy funeral home and Oscar, the funeral director. My father passed recently and they have been nothing but supportive and kind. Best of all, they are not pushy or try to upsell you on things you don't need. Other funeral homes were trying to get my mom to sign weird insurance contracts and the like, and Lacy did nothing or the sort. Better yet, their cremation services were $1,000 cheaper than others in the area!
