“Dog grooming for 2 dogs, my shih tzu and shih tzu mix. I went here several times while living in Missouri City, and am eager to get back while back in town after a bad experience in Chicago.“

“I'm not sure what is going on with the low reviews, but personally I had a great first time experience here. The facility was very clean, spacious, well organized, and had refreshments in the lobby if you're in need of one. I didn't have to wait either since I had an appt and they just put me in a room immediately when I walked in with my pup. Dr. Lee and his staff were very nice and professional in taking care of my dog. Dr. Lee spent a good amount of time going over possible diagnosis and treatment plans in detail as well as cost. The clinic I usually go to has no appt available, and my dog was vomiting and having bloody diarrhea. I was hesitant bringing him to another clinic that may potentially cost me an arm and a leg. I took the risk coming here because I wanted to make sure my baby gets treated ASAP. They are upfront of the charges before they do anything, as I do understand some vet clinics can put a heavy price on their services (at the end of the day it's still a business) but I think their prices are reasonable compared to a lot of places. My dog is doing much better now thanks to VCA! Give this place a chance, I would highly recommend it!“

“Our puppy, Indi has been training at Revival since she was little and in Puppy K classes. She has continued with day training, board and train, and day care. She absolutely loves it! She is so excited to go there and is so enthusiastic when she arrives. We also love the training that she has received. I can't imagine training our pup without them! And I think they love our pup just as much as we do, which makes it even better.“

“Alejandro really took the time to understand my dog and the dynamics within my household. He provided effective methods to elicit the good behaviors that make my dog a great part of the family. He showed me how to understand the body language of my dog to be able to understand their state of mind in a given situation which has in turn improved my handling of the dog and that leads to more relaxed enjoyable walks.“

“Ben at Beyond the Dog was an amazing trainer. We had bitten off more than we could chew with our husky-mix rescue, Nyx. She came to us completely untrained at about a year old. She was destructive, not a good listener, and overwhelmed our other dog. It became apparent we needed help to get her acclimated to our home and to our mini-Aussie, Titan. We checked many sources and Beyond the Dog was the best fit for us, as they come to the home and work with the dogs in their environment. Ben took our chaos goblin and turned her into a lovely pet with appropriate boundaries. She's still a husky mix, so she doesn't like following the rules, but she'll do it! Best of all, Ben helped us work with Titan as well, who was always extremely wary of visitors. Ben's expertise was such that he picked up on the overall problems that both our pets experienced and addressed them both individually and together. Having guests used to be painful, now our dogs are both polite and at ease.

As word of advice, if your dog's behavioral issues relate to people, you may need to have friends, co-workers, or neighbors available to stop by during your training sessions so that your dog(s) can interact with them. This service is absolutely worth it, but the owners need to be willing to participate and learn the processes that are being used for continual success.

Finally, a few thoughts on Ben and Beyond the Dog's approach for training. Ben had great rapport with our dogs, even our keyed-up little Aussie, but knew when to be firm as well. Both Beyond the Dog's and Ben emphasize positive reinforcement as the primary means of motivation. This was a major selling point for us as we're leery of more aggressive/punitive approaches to training. Ben was very reliable and an excellent communicator for upcoming scheduling as well as recapping the week's lessons. We had no shortage of resources, and still have the ability to ask questions as needed. We are so happy we chose Beyond the Dog for our pets.“

“Tori is a MIRACLE WORKER! We have a highly intelligent (read: opinionated) Mini Aussiedoodle puppy who went on an “education vacation” at 6 months old and came back literally able to take walks off-leash. We started off thinking we’d gotten ourselves the worst dog in the world, but now we all get along and we get compliments on his behavior all the time! She potty trained him and also taught us how to train bad behaviors out of him. We are SO grateful for her work and understanding with Rocky. He clearly loves her, because when she comes over for in-house lessons he jumps for joy when he sees her.Side note, she recommended an e-collar which we were hesitant to use at first, but now we are big fans! Can’t recommend her enough. Especially the education vacation!!!“

“I’ve used both Chanel and Jeni is the past to groom my dogs. Today I called and asked Jeni could she squeeze in my 6 month old Scottish Terrier, and she had no problem getting her in.
