HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! One woman working there at 1:00 p.m. on a weekday and man who works there sleeping in chair, no other customers, which was initially nice. Woman was borderline rude and barely spoke until a woman walked in and started behaving rudely herself, as she apparently didn't want to wait long. The woman working on my nails literally tried to get me to have the man who was sleeping finish my nails so she could start on belligerent woman waiting! Already had a bad experience with the man previously so wasn't about to make that mistake again. Won't be giving them my business ever again! Too many other salons that I am now hearing about that are amazing!
I went to this salon several years ago when I was in the area and they did a good job. I'm in town for business and decided to get my nails done. The place was empty with only one tech there. She said she was the owner. She put me in a chair that was unstable and the bowl had been caulked over. I decided to let that go since they use the plastic liners. I was on my phone but noticed as she was doing my toes that she did not use sterilized equipment. Then she went for the cheese grater...I told her no. Those things are so gross and they seriously mess up your feet. I decided no polish on my toes so I could shower off any germs. Next, she went for the fingernails and cut me and then made a comment that I have thin skin. um, no. She had poor eyesight or poor skills. She must have gotten it pretty deep because it started bleeding again before I got back to the hotel. I think this was the worst nail service that I have ever had and the first time in my life that I have not tipped for nail service. I immediately came back to our hotel and showered and scrubbed my hands and feet and hopefully that will keep me from getting a disease or fungus from this disgusting salon.
I've been to so many nail salons, extremely expensive ones, average ones and then "cheaper ones". I went today to LV nails and I have never been more happy with my nails before. The guy who helped me was very kind and gentle and did an amazing manicure. I am truly surprised. If I was not leaving Texas soon I would 100% make LV nails my go to place.
