In February, we decided to replace our 17-year-old outside AC unit. We called several companies, and got bids for a 5 ton single-stage unit. After an assessment, by Michael Scogin, it was determined that we had a two-stage furnace, and a two stage outside unit would be a better choice for our situation. Mike and company quoted a price for the upgraded unit that was $11000+ less than the next lowest bid, had the unit installed and everything optimized, cleaned up and in much better shape in one day.
