We had a compressor go out recently, and had to find a new A/C company. We always start with the Better Business Bureau. The first company we found, told us that they couldn't replace just the compressor, they would have to change both the compressor and the evaporator, at a cost of more than $7,000. We didn't like that number at all, since the only problem was the compressor! So we kept looking, and found PTS. They were able to just replace the compressor, for about 1/3 the price of the other company's quote. They were responsive and helpful when we called. I think we've found a keeper.
