Dropped in while on a business trip in Spring. I reached out ahead of time to confirm the schedule and make sure they allowed drop ins. Caleb was very communicative and responded in a timely manner. He answered all of my questions.Dropping in to an unfamiliar gym can be very scary, especially when you’re just looking to get some chill, fun rolls in. My experience here was great. The training was very good. My partner, Josh was very welcoming and d did a great job of making me feel comfortable there. I hope to visit again soon. I would highly recommend Flow Theory Grappling to anyone in the area looking to train in a great gym.
I met a few of the Flow Theory team members at a local open mat a while ago and they invited me to come by for one of their open mats. I took them up on that today and I am so glad I did. Greats rounds, great instruction, and great people. I will definitely be back!
Matt Smith is possibly the best instructor I have ever had. I trained Jiu Jitsu under him years ago and the moves I learned from him are the moves I use today. The fundamentals that one learns here are paramount to developing a cohesive and comprehensive game. Halcyon JiuJitsu is the premier place to train if you are passionate about Martial Arts. The years of experience and compassion that the instructor bring surmount the competition and will push you to be the best version of yourself on and off the mat. They also have a great mma, gi, and no-gi program as well.
