“Excellent, friendly, compassionate care. Warm, welcoming atmosphere starts the mmoment you walk in the front door and are greeted with a big smile from the front desk clerk, Andrew. I attended pool and floor physical therapy for six months here after suffering a stroke. My therapist,Charlie impressed me with his compassion and humor from D ay One until the very last day. My first visit was for aquatic therapy and as soon soon as we got in the water I burst into tears because my stroke causes me to cry all the time now from fear, happiness or sadness. Charlie immediately comforted me by putting his hand on my shoulder and telling me everything was going to be okay and when I apologized repeatedly dor crying, he assured me, telling me,"you don't ever have to say you're sorry for anything .. except when you step on my foot." This made both of us laugh which made me stop crying, andI let him know okay I was ready to get deeper into the pool now. Every session I had with Charlie as he helped me to walk and gain strength in my left leg and movement in my left arm, he always made sure to work me out hard but to make sure to watch and ask me if and when we needed to modify a stretch or movement to make sure I wasn't in too much pain. He would constantly joke though, telling me that P.T. stands for pain and torture. I really enjoyed My sessions at Cibolo Creek in bulverde, and I've gained more confidence in walking, and in the water because of the exceptional care I received there. I definitely will recommend cibolo creek to anyone of any age needing physical therapy. I'm 52 years old snd I saw patients in their teens and 80s receiving care here.“
“I typically don’t give reviews, good or bad.The experience I had at this clinic however, compelled me to give one.I shattered my heel in October and eventually required PT. I selected a clinic close to my home for convenience. I was assigned a PT and began my therapy in early January. Everyone on staff was friendly and efficient, but my PT, Dr. John Morello, was exceptional! He was dedicated, creative and attentive, and tailored every treatment to my needs. He genuinely cares for his patients.I highly recommend this clinic and this very talented therapist.“
“Like any obligation for self-care, I thought physical therapy would be a chore, and without a doubt, it is a commitment. It is also a relationship worth the effort. If you're ever prescribed physical therapy, I endorse Smithson Valley PT whole-heartedly. Professional, prescriptive, and personal, I appreciated everyone who assisted me. Clearly, the personnel at Smithson Valley PT have the magic elixir for the "spoon full of sugar that helps the medicine go down." Everyone who facilitated my return to functioning from crippling sciatica and a fractured ankle helped me help myself in the spirit of team work, thereby shifting the chore of exercises into an adventure of knowing my strengths and weaknesses and expanding my horizons. Follow the path to "downtown" Bulverde! You won't be disappointed.“
“Fantastic place, caring and knowledgable people. After a serious shoulder injury, my doctor suggested physical therapy instead of a surgical fix. I was skeptical that mere exercises could heal me, but I shouldn't have been ... Dr. Graves studied my situation, put together a program, and after about 6 or 8 visits over about 4-6 weeks, and doing the exercises at home, my shoulder went from severly compromised (and painful) to essentially healed and normal. Amazing. Of course, you have to put the work in, which was tough at first, but dang, the results are real. Highly recommend.“
