HIGHLY recommend Cogdell Memorial Hospital for your infusion needs! The nurses are super sweet & accommodating. First thing they asked me is if I would like a warm blanket!? 😳 Whaaaat??? Ummm…yes please! 🥰And you get a BED and pillow instead of a hard “recliner” chair like the place in LBK. Also have my very own little room & tv too. My nurse even asked if I’d like something to drink. 😲 I’m SUPER impressed & so glad I asked to get my iron here at home.

Would NOT recommend. My daughter was born with many heart issues that at least 3 doctors missed. If I hadn’t pushed and gotten her checked at another hospital she would’ve died. I was pregnant with my 2nd baby. Dr. Burson was my doctor, she was good so I thought. Throughout my pregnancy she did only 3 ultrasounds on my baby. (One when I found out I was pregnant, second was my 5mo. anatomy scan of the baby, and third was when I was about 8-9mo) She said due to covid she couldn’t do them often. Which I thought was odd. But dismissed it. When she was born I noticed she was breathing a little heavy but Dr. Burson said it was normal for newborns sometimes. (Doctors from Fort Worth said my daughters heart issues could’ve been detected on an ultrasound). So Dr. Burson missed it while I was pregnant and after she was born. She failed to look at her thoroughly. My daughter was also born a little jaundice so we went back to the hospital at 2weeks for a check up with Dr. Morris. I brought up her breathing once again and he said she was perfectly fine. He listened to her chest and heart. (Doctors in Fort Worth said he also missed the signs. He could’ve detected a murmur. But he did not catch it). So once my daughter turned 1mo old her breathing was still heavy but she also completely lost her voice and her feedings decreased. So we went to the E.R we were seen by Dr. Xu. He put my daughter on a pulse ox machine. It immediately said her heart rate was high and her oxygen was 70-80s, her oxygen never went up passed 80s. He said since she was wiggling the machine didn’t read correctly. But we were there for hours and she fell asleep. The monitor was still beeping. They said. “It’s fine. Sometimes the machine just doesn’t read right on little ones” So Dr.Xu did X-rays to check her lungs. He came back and said the X-rays were clear. “It must be allergies”That was the only 2 things that were done for us. And we were sent home. (Doctors in Fort Worth did X-rays and were shocked how Dr. Xu missed it. My daughters heart was extremely enlarged). There is much more to our story. But my daughter is 7mo old now and doing much better with her heart issues. No thanks to this hospital.
