My experience with the optical department at HEA Woodlands was superb. I have both Medicare Advantage and the Texas vision program, each with varying benefits. My praise is for Vanessa Voisinet who spent over an hour helping me decide on frames and lenses and figure out how to apply my benefits to my choices. With Medicare I had a one-time, post-cataract allowance, and a less generous allowance from Texas. Vanessa work very diligently researching my benefits and figuring how to apply them to my greatest benefit. She saved me a very healthy sum. The check in staff was courteous. The person who did my initial screening handled himself in a professional manner. The doctor I saw, Dr Tamara Conaster, was very professional in the examination of my eyes and thorough in her explanations of all that she was doing to check my vision. I appreciated the way she checked everything and answered my questions without any hesitation. I feel I can truly trust her.

Dr. Miller was absolutely amazing with my son during an unexpected and urgent visit to see him. He was very calm and patient, which helped my anxious child during this difficult visit. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, answered all our questions, and made himself available if we to come back for a follow up. I feel BLESSED to have found such a caring and charismatic doctor in our community.
