Puro cultura. I was kindly obliged when I asked if I could play an album before climbing into the chair.Whaaaat? For reals..Mari was attentive to my style request and gave way more effort and detail to my cut than I expected. All while maintaining great conversation.I've had hundreds of barber cuts from highly experienced civilian snd military barbersI have to say that Mari may be the best barber I have ever used.Im glad to have found a solid barber and a shop with a great traditional atmosphere.Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a wonderful experience at this location. Kat took her time and gave me exactly what I wanted even though I was indecisive when I sat down. She had an awesome personality and was fun to talk to. Even though I have a TON of hair and it took her longer than most cuts she still charged me the advertised price. Check in on line was super easy and took less time than expected. I left very happy and will definitely return.

Stylist: VANESSA (got you fam) does a fantastic job. I’m not strict about my hair but a proper fade should be done with either a razor or electric razor. She’s the only stylist that I’ve seen at GC that uses one. Literally just got done and I’ve meant to leave a review in the past but I always forget. Plus, most people only leave negative reviews and rarely anything positive since we’re a complainant driven society. Damn shame. Vanessa always does a great job and it’s the main reason why I only come to this location ??
I took my 12 year old son today and Olivia gave us exactly the style of haircut I requested (my son is particular). She was very good-natured and skilled. Everyone on the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It seems harder to find places that take walk-ins these days so that was also a nice perk to coming here. We'll be back!

I came in looking like a bum straight off the streets of Austin. I booked an appointment and specifically requested for someone with a beard.. I was at first disappointed since I ended up with a barber without one. I think it's best to have a barber who knows beards. Hot toweled and straight razored and finished with a jack and Coke so you don't really give a fuck what it looks like afterwards lmao. I was going to give 4 stars, but the jack and coke elevated it to 5 stars.

Great place but they often have random hours not posted in google maps. So if you prepay or buy a pack you might have issues using it on your schedule.

Traveling through Texas, needed Gel Nails. I called Lauren ( asked a billion questions) but she knew exactly what I wanted. She is so polite, professional and cares about what she is doing. Nails look fantastic going on 2 week no chipping or peeling. If we are back in the area I will definately look her up.

I have been coming to Sweet Chic for regular sugaring by Hillary for about 6 months now. Hillary is so sweet and comforting and does a fantastic job. I never get any ingrown hairs with her and she gives great recommendations on how to keep my skin healthy and exfoliated. For sugaring/waxing there is little to no pain. Im very grateful to have her in San Marcos!
Neil and Kelvon are always very helpful. Only place in SM that I found that carries Aveda products so I go here for facial products. If they don't have it they can order it. I already had a hair salon before coming here or I would've tried their services too.
I get my eyebrows threaded about every two weeks with Rita! She always does an amazing job and gets it done quickly. Her space is clean, organized, and comfortable. I've gone other places before when I'm in a pinch and I always regret cheating. I recommend calling ahead and setting an appointment as Rita is super popular and her days can fill up quick.
I see Sophia and she does a great job. I've only had 2 stylists who did my hair where I didn't think I needed to go home to "fix" it and Sophia is 1! Highly recommend her.

SO happy that I got the customized bespoke facial from Nicole. I have really sensitive, reactive skin + rosacea, and going into my first facial I was curious if my skin would tolerate it or not. Nicole did a great job of explaining her process and products and using things that helped soothe my skin. It was relaxing, and my face is so bright, calm and smooth afterward. Amazing experience! I've been terrified to get a tattoo because I had a bad experience at 18. Taylor did an amazing job, was very patient with me, and was in general just hilarious. Emily also was very welcoming and wonderful, and the other guy at the shop just as welcoming and kind. I do plan to come back go get tattoos from Taylor again.

This service was kind enough to talk me through the process of fixing the issue without even having to come to my residence, and they talked with me about solutions if my problem persisted. She always gets your service appointment quickly and works around your schedule. I can only say positive things about their knowledge. Jared is a really experienced plumber. He has been in out of my home for more than two years. He makes sure you understand the costs of the repairs and explains what he is doing. He has even picked up some plumbing parts for me. Now, he has begun servicing my new home in Kyle. He works diligently on all repairs and honors his quote. He is personable, and I trust his opinion. I have also had Chris in my new home to install a water softener, He is really good also. I generally never recommend a business, but this company is the exception. I give out their cards quite frequently because I believe great service should reviewed and rewarded. I recommend the quality service they provide. Installed heated floors in our bathroom but they would not power on. Installer said it was a problem with the equipment. Veteran Electric was the only company willing to actually diagnose the problem. Turned out to be a staple that punctured the electrical wire which they replaced. They got everything working and I brought them back out for additional work.

I went in to get a lump on my dog checked and I was told that I accidentally made the appointment for the next week but they were able to do a quick examination of the lump! Took one minute. My dog wasn’t even established as a patient and they still did this. Such a wonderful place. Safe to say I will be going back ❤️

I had a great experience at the Animal Care Center of Hays County. My dog Rifle and his little brother received excellent care here, and I felt completely at ease with the treatment they received. Dr. Sydney Medina is highly skilled and professional, answering all of our questions with expertise. Rifle is usually anxious at the vet, but he was noticeably calmer during this visit. We've been to several different places in the area, and this one is by far the best!
