Sveccs

VECCS, established in 1974, promotes the advancement of knowledge in veterinary emergency and critical care medicine, leading to improved patient care of severely ill/injured animals. The Society conducts an international continuing education symposium (IVECCS) in September which draws over 2800 veterinarians, technicians and practice managers and a smaller "members only" symposium in March/April. VECCS also publishes a peer reviewed journal (JVECC), maintains a web site which includes a member's only section, and produces flash drives and meeting proceedings. VECCS has a membership of over 4500 veterinarians, students, technicians, managers and industry personnel.
